Amaragiri was built in 2023 under the leadership of the Dharmashree Pratishthana, with the belief that love for one's country is as essential as devotion to God. This unique monument features a marble temple dedicated to Bharat Mata (Mother India) and the Amara Jyoti Soldier Memorial. It was inaugurated by the Honorable Home Minister of India, Shri Amit Shah. We are proud to say that today, the second Bharat Mata Temple in South India is located in our Hanumagiri.
A Tribute to the Protectors of our Nation
Hanumagiri is the sacred abode of the immortal warrior, Lord Anjaneya. Amaragiri is a place to honor our Motherland, our brave soldiers (Jawans), and our hardworking farmers (Kisans). Visiting Amaragiri after seeking blessings from Lord Rama and Hanuman brings a sense of immense pride and joy.
Highlights of Amaragiri:
The Eternal Flame: The journey begins at the Sri Bharati Amara Jyoti Mandir, followed by the 'Vande Mataram' stone plaque and a statue of a soldier.
The Victory Symbol: As you walk down the hill, you will see a unique sculpture of a soldier's hand holding the National Flag, symbolizing victory.
Veera Kambha (The Hero’s Pillar): This pillar carries the emblems of India’s three armed forces—the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Sculptures of soldiers guarding the borders remind us of our nation’s strong defense.
The main temple is a magnificent eight-sided (octagonal) structure built with modern technology.
The Deity: Inside, you will see a beautiful 6-foot white marble statue of Bharat Mata. Behind her is a map of undivided India (Akhanda Bharat) featuring Lord Anjaneya and Lord Shiva-Parvati.
Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan: Standing on either side of Bharat Mata are 3-foot statues of a Farmer and a Soldier. They represent the breath of our nation—the farmer who feeds us and the soldier who protects us.
Amar Jawan Memorial: In front of the Goddess is the 'Amar Jawan' memorial stone, set against a backdrop representing a rising sun, symbolizing the dawn of freedom brought by the sacrifices of our heroes.
Inspiration for the Future
Portraits of Heroes: The upper section features paintings of great visionaries and brave military leaders who built a strong India.
Warli Art: The walls around Amaragiri are decorated with traditional Warli paintings depicting scenes from battlefields and stories of the military.
A Space for Reflection: The temple hall can comfortably seat about 100 people, allowing visitors to sit and absorb the history of our nation's courage.

The purpose of Amaragiri is to ignite patriotism in every heart. It teaches us that while we worship God, we must also honor the land we live in. It captures the message of the Bhagavad Gita and the bravery of the immortal Hanuman.
